Archery Biathlon
Archery Biathlon, also known as Ski Archery, is a sport made up of two disciplines: cross-country skiing and archery, where the skiers have to carry the bow with them. Its origins lie in Scandinavia hundreds of years ago. A rebirth of Archery Biathlon took place in the mid-80s in Italy, and since then it has developed into the sport it is today. The sport is governed by a partnership of the international Biathlon and Archery federations, the International Biathlon Union and the Fédération Internationale de Tir à l’Arc.
