Carrom
Carrom is a tabletop game and often described as a combination of pool, marbles and air hockey. Carrom has his origins in India, although it's also claimed that it came there from British origin. The game is played on a two feet square board. The object of the game is to strike a 'striker' disk such that it contacts the lighter 'carrommen' disks and propels them into one of four corner pockets. The aim is to pot your nine carrommen first, all within the rules of the sport. The International Carrom Federation was founded in 1988.
