Darts is a sport in which darts are thorn at a target, the dart board, hung on a wall. Dart boards are usually made of sisal fibers and thin metal wires divide the board into various sections, which all all have their own awarded points when hit, and divided in extra single, double and triple sections. The centre of the board, the bullseye, is worth 50 points. Darts is usually contested between two players playing an amount of legs, in which they have to reduce their score from 501 to zero. Three darts a time are thrown and the last dart has to hit a double. The World Darts Federation was founded in 1976. There is a separate Professional Darts Corporation rivalling at the top level, which was established in 1992.
