Fistball
Fistball belongs to the oldest sportarts in the world. It was mentioned in the era of the Roman Empire, in 16th century Italy, and developed in the 19th century in the gymnastics movement in Germany. Fistball belongs to the games where a ball gets hit across a net from one half of the field of play to the other. The aim is to place the ball in the opponents' half in such a way as not allowing them to reach it, even after a bounce. The ball is hit with fists or arms, and after passing the net may be made contact with up to three times by the 5-player team, with a bounce being permissible after every contact. In 1960 the International Fistball Association was founded.
