Floorball
Floorball is an indoors sport played with plastic sticks where the objective is to put a light ball into the other's team goal. A team consists of 6 players, of which the goalkeeper has no stick. The game comes from northern Europe. It is similar to bandy, a kind of sport considered the predecessor of ice hockey. There are however considerable differences in the rules. For example use of the body is not much permitted, so no checks, pushes or blocks are allowed. The International Foorball Federation was founded in 1986.
