Hazena
Hazena was one of the predecessors of the handball game. It was developed in Bohemia in the 1890's. It was played on a 45x30 m court with goals and an initially square goal-area. The latter changed later to a semi circle. Teams consisted of seven players and rules changed over the years. Hazena spread towards Central European countries, but was overpowered by Handball at the end of the 1940's.
