Inline Figure Skating is a sport where competitors perform their routines on inline skates with balance of strenght, precision and artistry. Since the 1930's artistic skating has been performed on quad roller skates, and at the start of the 21st century artistic programs were introduced on inline skates. Most championships are combined with Roller Figure Skating, and competition is only performed in free skating. Inline Figure Skating is governed by the Fédération Internationale de Roller Sports, which was founded in 1924.
