Ice Stick Shooting
Ice Stick Shooting, or Eisstocksport, is a curling like winter sport played on an ice rink. Eisstocks of approximately 4.3 kg will be be tried to position as close to the target as possible. There's also the long shooting discipline where distance is the only goal. Eisstocksport was already practised in the Bavarian and Austrian Alpes regions in the 16th century. The Internationale Föderation für Eisstocksport was founded in 1950.
